Elias Sime is a collage and sculptural assemblage artist born in Addis Ababa. He collects found and discarded objects and has recently featured materials from electronic equipment and computers. With Tightrope 5.4 he has clipped and collected wires, drawn abstract figurative images on wood panels then nails and hammers the wires to complete the pattern.
