Matt Magee

Letter to Jonathan Stickney McDonald, 2004-15

Ink on paper

12 x 9 inches

16 1/2 x 13 1/2 inches, framed

This work is a letter that Magee wrote to his great-grandfather, a 19th century spiritualist. He refers to it as a 'hieroglyphic construction...akin to automatic writing'.
