These are trompe l'oeil works spraypainted onto flattened cardboard boxes which have been carefully chosen to complement the painted elements. EVOL creates urban scenes, sometimes buildings and sometimes street scenes, and renders them into very realistic two-dimentional stencil paintings. Strongly influenced by graffiti art, he also "creates" three-dimentional buildings by painting on outdoor objects such as utility boxes or concrete blocks turning them into tiny cities.
